After copleting my studies a work as librarian in sthe Bloemfontein City Library. Working in the library gave me the necessary skills to deal with customers and the public. I also learnt how to work with stock and do stock taking.
Through the National Computer College I obtained a diploma which included specialised skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint. I then worked as trainer  for them with computer training for children and adults as main function. My time at National Computer College was rewarding as I was working in a field I enjoyed, and I could also apply a part of the knowledge related to my qualifications. I was the preferred trainer at the particular branch and gained valuable experience in presenting computer training classes.

In 20xx I joined Futurekids as a teacher teaching computer skills to school learners. I was promoted to Training / Office Manager  responsible for training teachers, visiting Futurekids branches, managing staff, and performing general office administration. After working for Futurekids for a while, I was promoted to head teacher and office manager. I managed the teaching staff, organised training sessions for the teachers and evaluated each teacher on a regular basis. My duties also included running the main office as the owner was away most of the time.

My experience up to this point prepared me to start my own business. Along with my business partner at the time, Let’s Do It! was formed with the main objective to develop courseware for specific qualifications, starting with ICDL courseware.

My main duty was developing new courseware. This includes writing the material, editing the material, finalising the layout of the books and overseeing the process of producing the final product. I liaised with printing companies as well as the bodies who needed to evaluate our material. I am proficient at developing and editing courseware.

As part of my duties I managed the day to day financial aspects of the business, e.g. paying salaries, paying suppliers and working with our auditor. As manager of our Cape Town branch I also dealt with all personnel issues that occurred.
A few years ago, Let’s Do It! was sold to a third party and since then I act as a consultant for the business.

I am currently currently  c0-owner of De Novo Boeke, a small publish self company. I am mainly involved in proof reading manuscripts, as well as the editing and layout of manuscripts.

From all this it will be clear that I am ideally experienced to provide the temp. virtual and outsourced service your company may require.
